Since my last post, we had a lovely family trip to Mexico, I joined my gym’s weight-loss challenge (which ends this Friday! Yikes!), I pulled my second child out of school to homeschool, and all four boys have had their birthdays ( take Christmas, four birthdays, Valentine’s day, and Easter and add a grandma who’s love language is gifts. and ugh, so much stuff!).
Since my youngest turned one a year ago, I had lost some of my zest for life. I was sad that I wasn’t going to have any more babies, and I dealt with that using food and skipping the workouts. I let my personal training certification lapse. I thought I hated working out.
Since doing my gym’s challenge (side note, I LOVE my trainer! He trains like I did, coming up with something new and fun regularly, and by the end of this challenge, I will have had a total of 10 sessions with him! I find it funny that I was so skeptical that he’d be THAT good!), I’ve lost about 10 lbs, but I gained CONFIDENCE! And I’m thinking about getting re-certified as a personal trainer, and maybe finally using my GI Bill to get a degree in something related.
